About Mike:
Hometown: Reno, NV
Tell us about the car you currently drive: I currently drive a Project 2002 Ford Ranger EDGE. She's an independent woman built to take me to some of the best sunset views a girl could ever ask for. The Relentless Fabrication armor, Total Chaos long travel and 35" tires help us rip through the desert or climb high into the mountains.
Name some of the cars you have had in the past. Name your favorite: I've owned quite a few vehicles throughout the past. Starting with most recent excluding the truck would be a 2016 Toyota 4Runner, 2005 Toyota 4Runner, Mazda Speed3 Hatchback, Scion TC, and we will end at the 2003 Toyota Tacoma. Can you tell I like Toyotas?
My absolute favorite was my 2005 Toyota 4Runner Limited with the V8. I cannot get over how amazing the V8 power in this particular 4Runner is. I wish my Tacoma had it! The 4Runner made me fall back in love with off-roading and just being in a bigger vehicle after coming from my Mazda Speed3 I felt so much safer being higher up off the ground. I don't think I could ever go back to a car.
3 interesting facts about you: 1. When I was little I always dreamt of growing up and being an Indy car driver. 2. I am learning how to weld. 3. I have an insane passion for the great outdoors and animals. The two go together for me as I love to see animals in their natural habitats.
Your go-to song in the car: The Beast by Tech N9ne. This is one of those songs that makes you feel like you can take on the world. That you are some badass not to be messed with. No one wants to mess with the beast.
Craziest thing you've seen on the road: Last summer I was driving through Glacier National Park when an adult black bear started sprinting full speed right at my truck while we were waiting for traffic to go. I had this moment of panic thinking it was going to jump on my truck! At the last second it veered off and ran up the side of the mountain. I just let out a sigh of relief.
